put a verse here about welcom and hospitatioy

“The process by which we discover our identities in Christ should be one in which we discover that each one of us is loved and valued by God as fully, as lavishly, as every other.”

(from 'Living in love and faith'... https://youtu.be/g7A3wt0jqZM?si=DYAsFnF1exLgipDA)

Welcome begins with knowing that we are all equally valued by God, whatever our starting point and whatever has informed the way we identify ourselves as part of God's creation.

Our welcome at The Annunciation

We offer a full, open welcome to everyone wanting to join us, whatever your faith background and wherever you are on a faith journey - from exploring to wanting to find a spiritual home.

Our heart's desire is for everyone to have a sense of being at home in worshipping at The Annunciation, where we pray that everyone's heritage, cultural background, identity and story are fully acknowledged and embraced.

If you have particular physical and health needs, we want to do everything we can to ensure we remove any barriers to worshipping for you - just let us know what you need and we will endeavour to make the needed adjustments.

Whatever church tradition is your norm, and in times where people wanting to explore faith or share worship might identify themselves within the LGBTQS+ community, we would reiterate our open welcome to everyone wanting to join us for worship.

And that invitation is equally offered to those who are reflecting on these aspects of church life and currently find themselves in an unsure place.

On our faith journey Jesus calls us to 'love one another as I have loved you.' The bible speaks of our equality and unity in Christ.

So we aim as scripture also calls us to allow God's spirit to bear fruit in our lives through growing 'love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.'

We pray that we can journey together in our faith as we question and grapple with what it means to truly follow Jesus and live within his unity and peace.
