About us - introducing your leadership team

Who are we?

We are a small, growing Anglican community church (Church of England) with a big heart.  While the services are traditional in nature, we are very relaxed and flexible in our expression of worship with an emphasis on wanting to be inclusive and on growing community.

The Reverend Trevor Goddard took up the appointment of Parish Priest at the beginning of September 2013. Having been born and brought up in London's Maida Vale, attending a local Cof E primary and secondary school, he started a career as a Postman (as they were called then!) before going behind the Post Office counter. Having then worked behind the scenes in the finance department, he went on to work for a housing association in Hammersmith.

As a self-supporting minister as vicar of The Annunciation, Trevor continued to work for the housing association. He has now moved on from his day job to become  full time Vicar of our neighbouring parish church - St Cuthberts, North Wembley in addition to being Vicar of The Annunciation. So we have changed the times of the services at both churches on Sunday mornings:

The Annunciation, Windermere Ave 9.30am

St Cuthbert's, Carlton Ave West 11.00am

This will enable him to lead at both services each week as he continues to lead the community here at the Annunciation.

He is married to Jacqui, has two adult children and three grandchildren.
